SISTAR – Alone

Let me start by saying in the early 2000′s I was really into Anime, jpop, jrock (kinda still am but super busy). Now for Korean music I knew a few artist but never really went in deep. Now with Psy and SISTAR and HYUNA I am really looking more closely. My favorite Japanese artist is Utada Hikaru I have all of her English albums and a few of her Japanese. I came across this group SISTAR which is a Korean girl band. They are so hot first, but they sound awesome. So I think I am hooked I hope they go strong for a few years.

New things

I tell you what as long as you are still living you are still learning . Today I was told about klout and let me tell you really cool site that keep track of all your social media. In some way it shows the user how you are influencing the world around you. I just registered today so I can’t really explain the full thing but I will when I get the hang of it. In some way it seem like I might be able to up my traffic and touch more people and actually get my repair business moving up. Well we will see…

SimCity Beta

Well I got in the Beta for Simcity and if I could say this it is a very well polished game. The multiplayer aspect looks like it will be killer my only problem might be that I would have to get some new friends on origin only because I am a big Steam fan. Beside that I will be buying 2 copies one for me and one for the wife. I really can’t wait as soon as I am able to post video I will.

RC micro helicoptors

Well yesterday my brother-in-law bought a micro helicopter from 7-11 a weird place to buy a helicopter but let me say this it is one of the coolest thing I have ever seen. I was never really into RC remote toys but I think I have a taste for a new hobby other then computers and gaming.

I had already caught the 3D printing bug I just never got the time to build and collect the parts. This year I am going to try to change that. My first step I want to see if I could get a few people to go in with me so we could build more then one printer. Then work on find site that provide 3D plans to practice printing all types of stuff.

After that I want to see if I could print blades and rotors for the helicopters. Also I would want to see if I could print the front covers which would change the face of the heli.

So my next few post I hope I will have some cool updates about my printer and my copter. Till next time duces!!!

The FPS of FPS’s ~ Blacklight Retribution

NOM!

Well in my opinion I think Blacklight : retribution is a great game , I love the recent updates and new gear and helmets. I lot of people returned to try it out. I just think that compared too all the paid games they have out at the moment, if you are looking for a nice game with epic graphics and cool guns BLR is your game. In my opinion I would love some more events maybe even some sort of clan wars, maybe add a few new game mods like a predator or zombie mod. They had voice chat in this patch but I think they removed it … servers started acting up. VOIP in game is cool and great for clan wars so I hope they add it back.

Well enought with that I will try posting more about it and adding some videos but for now I got this cool GIF that I got off a user on twitter.

Minecraft Mania!!

Minecraft, Minecraft!! The rave of this game is big, this game moved from computers to game consoles right up to handheld.  Well the reason for this update is not to talk about the game itself  but the many addons that can be placed in the game. I notice surfing the web that some people have problem patching addons for MAC and Linux installs. This is due to the fact that at times the addons will not have an executable file that could make the addons simple. So for the first time I used the Team Viewer app to connect to Mac to help out a friend to install his patches right. Not a huge epic thing but I felt good that I was able to help when it was needed.

I think in the near future I might have to setup a Minecraft Server under Ostuner.com that way I could start playing it myself.

Step out your box

Last night I was working on a few computers for various customers. While I was on the phone talking about the changes and modifications I got a call from some friends in PR , they started to express that in their area PC is hard to get. I decided to use Team Viewer to remote into the computers that needed to be looked at and I noticed more and more people don’t really care for maintenance on their computer. The main saying that always comes up is “I just want it to work.” . This is super common in my opinion with people that are not normally on a computer for more then 2 hours. I would love to help people remotely and if possible for those that need urgent attention or some type of immediate services, I would place a cost on that type of special services.

All in all this would be a great way to allow my business to grow from just my local area to a much larger scale. I am going to be adding Donate button and a 3 option pay button. We are moving forward!!

Hardware Blitz

Well yesterday I did a system-CD boot into a Linux base Part-magic OS. I found out that my IBM SL500 as a bad hard drive. I was running Windows 8 Pre-Release, it’s one of the best windows that I have ever use since windows 98. So since my Thinkpad crash I loaded up Win8 onto a backup Dell Net-book I had sitting around. I can’t really use the on screen apps due to the screen resolution but once you jump on to the desktop it works OK. Now I’m on the prowl for a new HD 2.5 sata for my laptop. This should be to hard but it’s not my main laptop anymore so I’m not really motivated to get it quickly.

At this moment I really use my M11x R3 (Alienware) the most at this time (64bit Win7 – not a fan). I am still on the fence about loading my fav Linux distro (Archlinux) as my 2 boot cause, I mainly use the M11x for gaming. My HP elite book is running a full Archlinux system I love it. I think it is one of  the best OS I have ever used. Well enough of my rant…
